You may or may not know what autoresponders are, but in case you are not sure exactly what they are, autoresponders are simply tools that internet marketers use to keep
in touch with their subscribers. They do this by capturing their emails with a lead capture form and then following up with them with a sequence of pre written emails tailored to the visitors' interests. These emails can be sent at regular intervals and can be anywhere from 2 to 4 days, weekly, or even monthly.

Capturing emails or building a list is done because the visitors that come to see your website come and go and they may never return. Once you capture your visitors' emails then you are free to send them your offers any time you want. This whole process is called Email Marketing.

If a visitor comes to your website and decides not to purchase anything then, you need to have a way to capture that visitor so you can send him follow up messages. According to research, it takes about 7 follow up emails before you visitors makes a purchase. This means that capturing your visitors will increase your chances of making more sales.

The lead capture page needs to be enticing and you need to offer something for free to your visitors. This way they can give you their email in exchange of the free product you are going to give them. This can be an eBook, report, an e-course, or whatever you think they are going to benefit from.

Email sequence
Setting up an email sequence is the easy part. The hard part is coming up with those emails. If you like to write and are good at it, you can write them yourself. If this is the case, your odds of saving money are in your favor. If you struggle to write then, you can pay someone to write those emails for you. If you are paying someone to write emails for you, you only need between 5 and 10 of them because these are the ones you can use at the beginning of your email sequence. After that, you can send your subscribers emails written by others.

You can get people to write for you at Fiverr or any other places that offer freelance services. Please don't go the cheap route because the work will not be good quality. Also, make sure you get writers that are native to the language and that they have a lot of writing experience. Make sure you ask them a lot of questions to be sure the writer you select will meet your needs.

Using emails written by others
Yes! You can use emails written by others! What you can do is join Clickbank, JVZoo, or any other affiliate program and find products you can offer to your subscribers. Find products that fit your subscribers' needs and make sure the products you are going to offer have an email sequence. Some of those products have them and others do not. Keep looking for those products because you are going to need a lot of emails so you can send to your subscribers.

Getting email ideas from others
If you don't have an idea about what to write in your emails, you can get ideas from others. What you can do is subscribe to offers from other marketers and read their follow up emails. Create a folder and save those emails in that folder so you can go back and refer to them. Implement those ideas with your own writing style.


Sending emails to your list
You need to make sure you do not overwhelm your subscribers with too many emails because if you do, they will unsubscribe from your list. It is best to send them an email every day for the first 3 or 4 days and then send them follow up emails every 3 to 4 days. When you send them emails, try not to just sell and sell. Try to write something interesting; something to keep them engaged and then write a short paragraph about the products you are sending them. Tell them how these products are going to help them. In other words, you need to modify the affiliate product emails to your own style.

You need to get enough emails so your email sequence can last at least 3 months if not more. Just keep those emails coming!
